Different blends of wax react differently to another. We use 100% natural soy wax. Because we are so pure and natural and make our candles with organic ingredients our cosmetic grade wax needs to breathe and it does! This breathing can sometimes cause a cloud that can be visible around clear glass containers and occasionally depending on the weather it may sweat a little. This is not a defect but rather a result of our product being chemical free. This is our sign that our candles are 100% Natural.

Vanessa Megan candles are all detoxing and safe to use around pregnancy, babies and pets. No plastics are in our wax and no toxins are in our scents as we use 100% pure essential oils that have healing properties.

We use certified kosher soy wax, which contains no herbicides or pesticides and is genetically unaltered. The wicks are made of pure cotton. Hand-poured in Sydney using natural soybeans. This means that you will light a candle that is clean burning without pollutants, toxins or carcinogens. A soy wax candle is generally 30-50% longer than a paraffin one.


Mint & Citrus blend contains essential oils of peppermint, orange, lemon myrtle and mandarin. 

Peppermint is able to provide relief from stress, depression and mental exhaustion due to its refreshing nature. It is also effective against feeling anxious and restless. It affects and improves mental clarity and raises energy levels.

Orange essential oil is known to encourage a positive outlook, dispel tension and stress. The therapeutic properties of orange oil are antiseptic, anti-depressant, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, carminative, diuretic, cholagogues, sedative and tonic.

Mandarin essential oil is balancing, uplifting and calming. Its properties include being antiseptic, digestive and anti-depressant.

Lemon myrtle essential oil is refreshing and uplifting. It is recommended for improving concentration as well as being relaxing and emotionally uplifting. Lemon myrtle has antimicrobial, antifungal properties.
